After last year’s successful collection, we are excited to share that our foodbank collection during lent will begin this week, running from the week beginning 2nd March until Friday 20th March. Once again, using a special donation calendar that is based upon one supplied to us last year by the foodbank, which highlights a suggested item to donate each day. This helps ensure a great variety of essential items are collected for families who need extra support.

Children are welcome to bring in the daily item listed on the calendar – though all donations are warmly appreciated at any time during the collection period.

Year 2 will be taking on the very important role of helping to collect, sort and organise all the donations. They are very excited to be involved in this community project and are looking forward to seeing the amazing generosity of our school family.
