Welcome to the PTA of St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School plays a vital role in the life of our school community. As a Catholic school, we value the partnership between home, school, and parish, and the PTA is a wonderful expression of that collaboration in action.
Our PTA is made up of dedicated parents, carers, and staff who work together to support the school through fundraising, organising events, and building strong community ties. From school fairs and social events to supporting classroom resources and enrichment opportunities, the PTA helps to enhance the educational experience of all our children.
More than just raising funds, our PTA brings people together, strengthens the sense of belonging, and helps to foster the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes St. Joseph’s such a special place. Every parent and carer is automatically a member of the PTA, and we warmly welcome new ideas, support, and involvement at any level.
By working together in faith and fellowship, our PTA helps ensure that St. Joseph’s continues to be a thriving, joyful, and inclusive school community where every child can grow and succeed.

I am very proud to be serving as Chair of the St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School PTA Committee. St Joseph's has always been a big part of my life – I was a pupil here myself (a long time ago now!), my nieces have attended the school, and I now have a son, Isaac, in Year 6 (my daughter has moved on to Year 10). I absolutely love being part of the school community and am passionate about making St Joseph’s the best it can be for our children. I’m really excited to work with parents and staff to help create fun experiences and special memories for the children. |

Hi - I'm Becky and I’m very happy to be Co-Vice Chair of the PTA, I am deeply committed to fostering a positive and supportive environment for both students and families at our school. With two children currently enrolled, I understand first hand the importance of strong community involvement and the role it plays in enriching the educational experience. I am passionate about working alongside other parents, teachers, and staff to organise events, raise funds, and create opportunities that benefit all students. My goal is to help build a close-knit, engaged school community where every child can thrive, and every parent feels connected and most importantly have fun memories of their time at St Joseph’s. |

Hello everyone! I’m Princess, and I'm very delighted to be the new PTA Secretary. I’m really looking forward to being part of the PTA this year. My son has just joined Reception, and I’m excited to be involved in helping make St Joseph’s an even better place for all our children. I’m especially passionate about supporting our SEND learners and ensuring that every child feels included and valued. I look forward to working with everyone and to all the exciting things we’ll achieve together- building lasting memories and moments that will become part of St Joseph’s history! |
| Vickie Phillips | Treasurer |
|
I have been volunteering as Treasurer for St Joseph’s PTA since 2022 and have thoroughly enjoyed contributing to successful events and activities that my daughter, Willow, and her friends have cherished. With Willow now in Year 6, I’m embracing my final year with renewed positivity and a passionate determination to make the new PTA something we can all be proud of. |
| Ann Hawkins | Volunteer Coordinator |
|
The success of our PTA events are largely due to the help of all our lovely volunteers - and I’m hoping as Volunteer Coordinator this year I can help organise volunteers for our events (I promise not to pester you all too much!). I am really happy to be part of the PTA again this year and I’m sure we can continue to help provide some exciting things for the children and families of St Joseph’s school. St Joseph’s primary school is very special to me, not only as my daughter is currently a pupil here and my son an ex pupil, but also as this was the school that I went to all those years ago. I look forward to exciting times ahead and hope to see you all at future events and activities! |

I'm the Year 6 teacher at St Joseph’s. I am still fairly new to PTA things but have felt so inspired by the St Joseph’s children, parents and community that I truly want to be a part of all the positive experiences and opportunities that we can bring about for our children from Early Years right up to Y6 and hopefully beyond. I think the saying 'it takes a village to raise a child' is true on so many levels, and this St Joseph's PTA community that we are creating just adds another layer of support for our children. |
