Our governors play an important role in supporting and challenging the leadership of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School. Working together with the Headteacher, staff, the Trust and our parish community, governors help to ensure that the school provides an excellent Catholic education for every child.
Governors provide strategic oversight of the school, including its Catholic mission and values, quality of education, safeguarding, SEND and inclusion, attendance, behaviour, finance and the wellbeing of pupils and staff. They ask questions, monitor progress and help ensure that the school’s priorities are making a positive difference.
Our governors bring a range of skills, experience and perspectives to the school community. They are committed to our mission of “Inspired by Christ, Working Together, Achieving Our Best” and to ensuring that every child at St Joseph’s is supported to flourish, achieve their potential and become confident, compassionate members of their community.
